Auditions

The Athens Flute Choir is open to any flutist who demonstrates proficiency on his or her instrument and is able to commit to at least 70% of scheduled rehearsals including the first rehearsal and the dress rehearsal prior to a concert.

Auditions are held annually in August for the upcoming performance season.

Audition Requirements
•Full Range Chromatic Scale
•Any 3 Chromatically Adjacent Major Scales 
•Sight Reading
•Short Prepared Solo of your choice

Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 800 West Lake Drive, Athens, GA.
