The Athens Flute Choir has been delighting audiences in Northeast Georgia while educating them about music, composers, and the oldest member of the woodwind family, the flute, since 2009.
The Athens Flute Choir has delighted audiences since 2009 with performances in Athens and Northeast Georgia. The ensemble features many members of the flute family including piccolo, C flute, alto flute, and bass flute, in addition to outstanding guest artists. The Athens Flute Choir presents a variety of classical and contemporary music as well as original works for flute choir.
With a tax deductible donation of $300, you may sponsor a concert. This covers the cost of music, printing, and advertising. Concert sponsors will be identified in the program and on our website and Facebook page. To sponsor a concert, please contact our Treasurer at lcarmon@charter.net.
The Athens Flute Choir participates in the Kroger Community Awards Program. Sign up for these programs so a percentage of your purchases at Kroger will be donated to the AFC. It's easy to participate and there is no cost to you!
