The Athens Flute Choir is open to any flutist who demonstrates proficiency on his or her instrument and is able to commit to 

regularly attending weekly rehearsals including 

the first rehearsal and the dress rehearsal prior to a concert.  Members must comply with our COVID policy.

Audition Requirements
•Full Range Chromatic Scale
•Any 3 Chromatically Adjacent Major Scales 
•Sight Reading
•Short Prepared Solo of your choice

Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm 

at First Presbyterian Church, 

185 East Hancock Avenue, Athens, GA.

COVID Policy

Out of respect for our fellow flutists, their families, and our 

host churches, we practice for COVID safety. 

We require members to be fully vaccinated, including boosters, 

and masking in the building.
